How Wangu built a passion fruit supply chain with forest-edge farmers

Working with smallholder farmers around Sierra Leone’s Gola Forest, we built a reliable local supply of passion fruit with a matching grant from Invest Salone’s COMPETE Salone facility, giving farmers a dependable buyer and extra income outside the cocoa season.

How we process, from field to dispatch

Once crops are responsibly sourced, they move through a controlled process designed to protect quality at every stage. At our processing facility, incoming crops are received, inspected, sorted, cleaned, and processed under controlled conditions. Products are dried or frozen, packaged, batch-coded, and recorded to support quality control and traceability from farmer delivery through final dispatch.
